SPUN TO RUN recorded another winner on Monday when Spunoutofcontrol won at Remington Park.
Trained by Ronnie Cravens III for Eric Archer, Spunoutofcontrol was placed close behind the leader in the 6 ½ furlong race after being settled by jockey Lindey Wade. With just over a quarter left to run, the filly was encouraged to do more and put in a long rally to the line.
She caught the leader just in time, winning by a head to become SPUN TO RUN’s 11th winner.
Bred by Donaldson Stable in Kentucky, Spunoutofcontrol is the first foal out of the winning Pioneerof the Nile mare Pioneer Woman. That mare is out of a winning half-sister to Grade 1 winners Palace Malice and Justin Palace and the Grade 2 winner Iron Barows.
Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile (G1) winner SPUN TO RUN’s runners include the stakes placed Midnight Humor.
