Boarding Services

We offer year-round boarding services for mares and foals

Personalized Care

Gainesway offers year-round boarding services for mares and foals. Our experienced team, led by broodmare manager Johnny Slugantz, follows the same meticulous program managing clients’ mares as they do our top-flight broodmare band.

From breeding to foaling to weaning and beyond, we provide your mare and foal with meticulous and personalized care. Our philosophy is to achieve our clients’ goals to produce either a successful sale yearling or a successful racehorse.

Prime Location

Our fertile land is second to none in producing prime pasture and top Thoroughbreds. We take annual soil samples to ensure the land continues to provide the necessary nutrients for optimal growth and health. Gainesway’s location allows for convenient access to Blue Grass Airport, Keeneland, Fasig-Tipton, and premier veterinary and support facilities.

Communication and Individualization

We are honored that our clients entrust us to care for their Thoroughbreds, and we take that responsibility seriously. We consult with equine nutritionists routinely to design healthy, balanced, individualized feed programs for each horse, and our feed is specially formulated to complement the land’s natural nutrients.

We understand that our clients have a tremendous investment in each of their horses, which is why we make it a priority to keep you updated on the status of your Thoroughbred. We have a carefully controlled program of photos and reports scheduled to provide our clients with the most up-to-date health information and progress of their horses.

Regardless of your level of experience in the Thoroughbred industry, you can contact general manager Brian Graves to discuss your needs. We look forward to the opportunity to talk about our array of services and how they might apply to your individual situation.
