Spun To Run Yearlings In Demand at Fasig-Tipton July

A $200,000 filly purchased by Alex and Jo Ann Lieblong led the SPUN TO RUN offerings at Fasig-Tipton July on Tuesday, when going through the ring as Hip 66.

Named With Kindness and bred by Elizabeth LaPierre and Jennifer Given in Florida, she is out of a fifth-generation stakes placer or producer. That mare – a stakes placed daughter of Graydar named Aggregator – is out of another stakes performer with Pretty Miss Trippi also winning three races. While With Kindness’s third dam didn’t earn blacktype, she is the dam of two multiple stakes winners in addition to the stakes-placed Pretty Miss Trippi.

Lothenbach Stables snapped up a colt out of Quiet Talk from the Elite consignment only 26 hips into the sale.

The colt is the second foal out of the Honor Code mare Quiet Talk, who is a half-sister to multiple stakes winner Fordubai, stakes winner Fast Alex, and stakes placed Afford. Under the colt’s third dam is the Grade 3 winner and Grade 1 placed Til Forbid – who produced two stakes performers who went on to become stakes producers as well.

Third dam White Jasmine is also the dam of three other stakes winners and one stakes performer. That stakes performer is also the third dam of TAPWRIT’s stakes winning Victory Formation.

SPUN TO RUN’s four sold averaged and nearly 12 times his stud fee with his median sitting over 11 times his fee.
