Buyers have three chances to buy SPUN TO RUN juveniles on April 3 at the TTA Sales Texas 2-Year-Olds In Training Sale at Lone Star Park next week.
Pike Racing is the consignor of Hip 37, a SPUN TO RUN colt out of Hello Maggie May bred in Louisiana by Coteau Grove Farms.
The colt’s dam is a multiple stakes winner who has already produced dual stakes winner Late September – who won stakes last year as a juvenile – and the Grade 3-placed Malloy among her six winners from six to race.
Out of Canadian champion Fantasy Lake, Hello Maggie May is one of three stakes performers for her dam with the group including multiple stakes winner South Bay Cove and Grade 3-placed Art Market. Hello Maggie May is one of eight stakes producers named on the January-born colt’s page.
Hip 73 is a SPUN TO RUN juvenile filly offered by Asmussen Equine out of the winning Pioneerof the Nile mare Pioneer Woman.
The juvenile is the first foal out of that granddaughter of stakes winner Palace Rumor, who produced the Grade 1 winning duo of Palace Malice and Justin Palace. In all, Palace Rumor produced seven winners from her nine runners with that group also including Grade 2 winner Iron Barrows, stakes placed Cast In Silver, and this filly’s three-time winning granddam Lady June Bug.
This page is an active one with Cast In Silver’s 3-year-old Guanare winning a stakes on January 27 and finishing second in another on March 5.
Breeder Donaldson Stable liked this filly so much that they sent her dam back to SPUN TO RUN. She produced a colt by the stallion last March and visited SPUN TO RUN’s studmate TAPWRIT last year.
Asmussen Equine is also the consignor of Hip 78, a SPUN TO RUN filly out of TAPIT daughter Seaport.
A full sister to the stakes-placed Areolite, Seaport has produced two winners from three to race including four-time winner Douseawhatisea. Seaport is also a half-sister to the Grade 3-placed Zartera with the trio out of the stakes placed Catera.
Each of Seaport’s first five dams produced at least one stakes winner with her granddam Christmas Star also producing Grade 1 winner Cuvee.
The Oklahoma-bred filly’s page also includes Grade 2 winner Lauda Sion and Will He Shine. Just off the page under this filly’s fourth dam are champion Untapable and Grade 1 winners Olympio, Tapizar, Pyro, and Paddy O’Prado.
The Texas 2-Year-Olds In Training Sale Breeze Show starts at 8am Central on April 1 with the sale kicking off at 10am on April 3.
