TAPWRIT’s Victory Formation took his record to two-from-two on Saturday with an Allowance Optional Claiming victory at Churchill Downs.
The Spendthrift Farm and Frank Fletcher Racing Operations runner raced in second throughout the six furlong affair, continuously keeping close to the leader as they dueled around the track. He took the lead over in the stretch before losing it once more but wasn’t done yet, continuing to pour on the pressure and take command late for a neck victory in the end.
