TAPIZAR's Monomoy Girl and Bullof Wall Street find the winner's circle

It was a successful weekend for Gainesway sire TAPIZAR!

Champion Monomoy Girl (TAPIZAR) had a successful return to graded stakes action over the weekend. In just her second race in 20 months, the daughter of TAPIZAR won the G2 Ruffian Stakes for fillies and mares at Belmont Park on July 11th.

Bred in KY by FPF LLC & Highfield Ranch, Monomoy Girl is out of the Henny Hughes mare Drumette, and was purchased for $100,000 at the 2016 Keeneland September Yearling Sale by BSW Bloodstock/Liz Crow, agent. Monomoy Girl, conditioned by Brad Cox, has won 11 of her 13 lifetime starts, never finishing worse than second. This Kentucky Oaks and Breeders’ Cup Distaff winning daughter of Gainesway stallion TAPIZAR has over $3M in earnings, and looks to add to to that number in 2020.

The following day TAPIZAR’s Bullof Wallstreet ran a huge race in the Swedish Derby – a 3-year-old classic in the circuit! Bred by Mike Abraham, this son of TAPIZAR was purchased as a weanling at the 2017 Keeneland November Sale by M and W Bloodstock. As of June, he was the highest rated 3-year-old in Scandinavia.
