OLYMPIAD Juveniles Set For OBS March Sale

OLYMPIAD’s juveniles put on a show in the OBS March 2-Year-Olds In Training Sale Under Tack Show over the last few days and now he sees eight go through the ring on March 10 – 12.

Stopping the clock just two ticks off a track record tied by a DRAIN THE CLOCK juvenile, OLYMPIAD’s Hip 433 will be going through the ring on the second day of the sale after breezing in :20.3.

The filly offered by Hoppel is out of TAPIT’s multiple stakes placed Tapped, who is also the dam of five-time winner Top Magic. Tapped is a half-sister to the multiple stakes winner and Grade 1-placed Scotland and to the dam of multiple stakes winner De Regreso.

They are out of the Grade 3 winner and Grade 1-placed Gemswick Park, who is one of three stakes performers out of the stakes winning Queen’s Park, who is a half-sister to Grade 1  winner Poet’s Voice.

Hip 419 was also just off the bullet in his one-furlong breeze, stopping the clock in :9.4 as part of Omar Ramirez Bloodstock’s consignment.

He is the third foal out of the First Defence mare Tactical Move, who is a daughter of Grade 1 winner Game Face. Game Face not only produced TAPIT’s Grade 2-placed Coliseum but is also the granddam of Grade 2 winner Turnerloose and great-granddam of stakes winner Kentucky Outlaw.

Three of the colt’s first four dams have produced stakes performers with two producing stakes winners.

It’s a return to the sales for the First Call-offered Hip 264, a filly out of Porto Marmay.

The juvenile, who stopped the clock in :10.1, is a half-sister to Group 2 winner and multiple Group 1-placed Red Verdon with Porto Marmay also winning multiple stakes. A stakes winner in Ireland and the U.S., Porto Marmay is the dam of six winners from seven to race, including eight-time winner Portando.

Porto Marmay is one of three stakes performers out of her own winning dam Nordicolini. That mare also produced the stakes placed duo of Peak Power and Orpsie Boy. This page is strong throughout with Nordicolini one of nine winners out of Tuyenu, whose best runner is Hong Kong great River Verdon.

That filly was already stakes placed before the Maratha Washington when she finished second in the Year’s End S. as the first winner from two to race out of Newellton. That TAPIT granddaughter is a half-sister to the Grade 1 winning Big World and stakes placed duo of Gracida and Joyful Lass.

This page is packed with stakes performers with her sister joined by 10 others listed on the page, led by that Grade 1 winner and the stakes winning Tensas Yucatan.

Hip 807 is a half-sister to one winner from one to race out of the Harlan’s Holiday mare Gottahaveaholiday.

Offered by Potrero Stable, this filly’s winning granddam is also the dam of Grade 1 winner Dayoutoftheoffice from her two winners from two to race.
