Eight for OLYMPIAD at Fasig-Tipton Midlantic

Eight juveniles from OLYMPIAD’s first crop are set to grace the ring just a few days after the Preakness S. (G1) at this month’s Fasig-Tipton Midlantic May 2-Year-Olds In Training Sale on May 18 and 19.

A half-brother to Grade 3-placed Here U Come Again sells as Hip 181 from Caliente Thoroughbreds as OLYMPIAD’s first through the ring.

That Grade 3-placed filly is the first runner out of the multiple stakes winning Euro K Shotgun, who won five races in her career. The mare is a half-sister to the multiple graded stakes winning Shotgun Kowboy and stakes placed Shotgun’s Night as one of four winners out of their dam.

In all, there are 25 stakes performers on the page with the group led by the Grade 1 winner and stakes producing Shotgun Gulch.

Hip 497 by OLYMPIAD is out of a half-sister to the dam of Grade 1 winner Audible.

Offered by Caliente Thoroughbreds, the filly is a half-sister to the winning Vivid Dreams and out of the placed Pulpit mare Sister Superior. That mare is a half-sister to four winners with the group led by multiple stakes winner Akilina and stakes placed Kitty Panda. Those two produced stakes winners of their own while another half-sister produced Audible and a fourth produced the stakes winning Ancient Land.

The page has 17 stakes performers overall with 10 winning stakes.

Buyers have a chance to purchase a filly out of a stakes placed TAPIT daughter as Hip 549 from Hoppel’s consignment.

That TAPIT mare is the multiple stakes placed Tapped, who is also the dam of five-time winner Top Magic. This page comes with an earning update after Tapped’s multiple stakes winning and Grade 1-placed half-brother Scotland took his earnings to $720,375. Another of Tapped’s half-siblings produced multiple stakes winner De Regreso.

This filly’s second dam is the Grade 3 winner and Grade 1-placed Gemswick Park, who is one of three stakes performers out Queen’s Park. That stakes winner is a half-sister to Grade 1 winner Poet’s Voice among many others.

A half-sister to the Grade 1 winning Queen Goddess is the dam of Hip 554, a colt offered by Tim McCrocklin.

This is the first foal out of Malibu Moon mare Texas Tiara, whose dam is also a stakes placed performer in Royal Story. In addition to producing a Grade 1 winner, Royal Story is one of two stakes performers out of her own dam alongside the stakes winning Unbridled Mary. Queen Goddess is one of three Grade 1 winners listed on the page, joining Persistently and W W Heart Bond.

The final OLYMPIAD through the ring is Hip 596, a half-brother to stakes winner Supercommittee and stakes placed Ian Smith.

Nial Brennan offers this colt out of Cry Hallelujah, who has produced six winners from six to race with 2026 updates to this page showing it is an active family. A winning Street Cry mare, Cry Hallelujah has followed in her own stakes winning dam’s footsteps as a producer.  That mare, the stakes winning Mujado, saw Grade 1 winning son Joha lead her four winners. Every dam on this page has produced at least one stakes winner with Mujado a half-sister to both the stakes winning Limanda and the stakes placed Unaria’s Pet.

Cry Hallelujah produced a filly from MUTH’s first crop in March.

Both sale sessions kick off at 11AM on May 18 and 19 with the first 300 hips selling the first day and the rest of the horses selling the second.
