DRAIN THE CLOCK Sires Fifth Winner

It was an international winner for DRAIN THE CLOCK on Saturday when son Big Stack won in Jamaica.

Making his debut racing over four furlongs on the dirt in a six-horse field, he went off as a heavy favorite. In the end, he showed why bettors put their trust in him as he romped to an 8 ¾ length victory with only one runner within 10 lengths of him at the line.

Bred by Amy Maidson Scucci, Big Stack is the first foal out of the winning Mohaymen mare Tahaweel, who is a three-quarter sister TAPIT’s stakes winning Raased. Another one of her sisters is also the dam of Grade 3-placed Kinta.

They are out of Emtyazat, a winning Gone West half-sister to Grade 1 winner Corinthian and Grade 2 winner Desert Hero. Emtyazat is also one of three stakes winners out of her own dam.

DRAIN THE CLOCK’s five first crop winners include two stakes performers, led by Best Pal S. (G3) third Kennyten.
