A filly by TAPWRIT blazed the fastest 1/8th of a mile breeze Monday at the 2023 Texas Two-Year-Olds in Training Sale breeze show.
Cataloged as Hip 167, the filly stopped the clock in 9.4 for the 1/8th of a mile breeze at Lone Star Park. Consigned by Pike Racing as agent, the H. Allen Poindexter bred filly is out of the winning Henny Hughes mare, Sky O’Blue, and is a half sister to two winners from as many to race.
“It’s not every year in Texas we get a 9.4 breeze and she did it the right way,” TTA Sales Director Foster Bridewell said.
