Making his first trip outside of California, TAPIT’s Flightline again asserted that he’s the real deal with a six-length victory in the Metropolitan Handicap (G1) after an eventful trip. The colt was making his first start since dominating the Malibu Stakes (G1) by 11 ½ lengths in late November. The TAPIT son has proved nothing short of spectacular, with his four victories won by a combined 43 ½ lengths. This victory is his second at the Grade 1 level.
Owned by Hronis Racing, Siena Farm, Sumer Wind Equine, West Point Thoroughbreds, and Woodford Racing, Flightline was one of three $1 million yearling colts for TAPIT in 2019.
