RAGING BULL yearlings continued to be in demand at the Fasig-Tipton New York-Bred Sale this week when Whisper Hill Farm went to $125,000 to acquire the Taylor Made Sales offering.
Offered early during the second day’s session, the colt bred by Elm Tree Farm is out of the stakes placed Elusive One. That mare has produced three winners from three to race, with the group including the stakes placed Bourbon Heist.
Each of the three dams on the colt’s page have produced at least one stakes performer with Elusive One joined by the stakes winning Explain among the six winners produced by their dam Restless One. That dam was also a winner and is a half-sister to Grade 3 winner and Grade 1-placed Chorwon and the stakes winning duo of Yukon Robbery and Kumhwa.
There are 17 stakes performers listed on the page, led by Grade 1 winner Believe You Can and Grade 2 winners Classic Elegance and Itsaknockout.
RAGING BULL’s first yearlings have been well received at the sales this year, bringing an average of $147,500 at the first three yearling sales of the season.
