Quality TAPWRIT Offerings Continue at Keeneland September

40 yearlings on offer for freshman stallion

A popular sire throughout this year’s yearling sales, first crop stallion TAPWRIT brings 40 yearlings to the later books of Keeneland September.

Hip 1386 kicks off Book 3 for the stallion, a Gainesway-consigned daughter of Grade 3 winner Another Romance. That mare is already the dam of two winners from four to race and herself is one of three stakes performers out of Love To.

This filly’s stakes winning third dam Toosie is not only the dam of a stakes performer but also the granddam and great-granddam of stakes winners as well, including multiple stakes winner Runaway Lute.

Taylor Made Sales agency sends out TAPWRIT’s Hip 1449, a half-brother to Hopping Not Hoping, and two other winners from two to race out of Delray Beach. The mare is just the latest stakes producer in her family  with three dams on the page producing at least one stakes performer and two of those three dams being stakes performers themselves. The colt’s stakes-placed granddam Matter of Law is out of  stakes-placed Ruth Ann d’Or, who is also the granddam of Grade 1 winner Wonder Lady Anne L and stakes winner Lezendary.

Out of the winning Super Saver mare, Hip 2218 from Legacy Bloodstock is a half-brother to one winner from one to race out of Cashconsiderations.

That mare is a half-sister to Grade 1 winner Sean Avery and the stakes performers and producers W W American and Stayclassysandiego. Stayclassysandiego produced the multiple Grade 2 winner Pretty N Cool, who was also Grade 1-placed as a 2-year-old.

TAPWRIT’s Hip 2372 is a regally bred Taylor Made Sales Agency consigned filly out of Kohili. The dam of a winner from one to race, Kohili is out of the Breeders’ Cup Sprint (G1) winner Desert Stormer, whose daughters have produced multiple graded stakes winners. The best of those is Grade 2 winner Sahara Gold, whose runners include Grade 1 winner Better Lucky and TAPIT’s stakes placed Tapwood.

Sahara Gold’s stakes winning full sister Ensenada is also the dam of Grade 2 winner Casino Host and the granddam of multiple stakes winner Black Ops.
