Three mares sold carrying foals from MUTH’s first crop were led by a $230,000 mare during the Monday session of the Keeneland January Horses of All Ages Sale this week.
MWG purchased Murky from the Gainesway consignment with the mare carrying her second foal on a March 7 cover. A two-time winner, Murky was stakes placed at three for three top two finishes in four career starts.
She has a strong family behind her as one of three winners from four to race out of the stakes winning Exaggerated, who has seen all those runners win at least two races. She’s just the latest stakes producer in the family with her multiple stakes winning dam Miz United States also the dam of the Grade 3 placed duo of Scampering and Ameribelle.
This is an active page that looks to get even better in coming years. Multiple horses provided updates in 2025, including the stakes winning Kupuna with another stakes placing in addition to a sixth career win.
MUTH’s first in-foal mares have been very well received, bringing up to $525,000 at the breeding stock sales.
