MCKINZIE’s Shared Vision Wins on Debut at Churchill

Shared Vision continued MCKINZIE’s success under the twin spires on Sunday when the Rusty Arnold trainee won a Maiden Special Weight on debut.

Kicking off her career going 6 ½ furlongs on the dirt, Shared Vision wasn’t afraid to put on the pressure early when running close behind the leading Quick to Charm. As the field exited the turn, Shared Vision showed her best running to take the lead. There was still much to be done, however, with Keepsake making her own presence known.

It was a battle to the line, but Shared Vision got there first with a head victory to get her career off to a winning start.

Racing for Susan Bunning and Peter Kirwan, the Gina Fennell-bred is out of the stakes placed Into Mischief mare Vision of Justice. That mare is the dam of three winners from three named foals.

Vision of Justice is also a half-sister to the stakes placed Timeless Glory and from the family of Grade 1 winner Carr De Naskra among others.

Shared Vision’s victory comes the weekend after MCKINZIE registered two Churchill winners with Kinzie Queen and Amarth.
