KARAKONTIE daughter Spendarella went a perfect three-for-three on Saturday with a victory in the Appalachian Stakes Presented by Japan Racing Association (G2) by 1 ¾ lengths at Keeneland. It was a second straight graded stakes victory for the 3-year-old, who also took out the Herecomesthebride Stakes (G3) last month at Gulfstream Park. Trainer Graham Motion said that a trip to Royal Ascot may be next on Spendarella’s calendar.
