A finalist in last year’s Eclipse Awards Female Turf Horse and Three-Year-Old Filly category, KARAKONTIE’s She Feels Pretty went even better this year when she received over 100 more first place votes than the runner-up to take home the 2025 Eclipse Female Turf Horse honors.
This award tops off an excellent 2025 for She Feels Pretty, who kicked off her 4-year-old campaign with a win in the Modesty S. (G3) on the Kentucky Oaks card. She followed that up Belmont Stakes weekend with a fourth career Grade 1 victory in the New York S. (G1).
A head-bobbing finish in the Diana S. (G1) saw her suffer her first loss when second in that race before she rebounded with a E.P. Taylor S. (G1) victory in her Breeders’ Cup prep. She ended her season with another close second place finish in the Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Turf (G1).

She Feels Pretty has been a superstar for KARAKONTIE from the start, winning the Natalma S. (G1) in only her second start as a juvenile before finishing third in that year’s Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (G1). She went on to win two more Grade 1s as a 3-year-old before repeating that feat again in 2025.
In all, She Feels Pretty has won eight of her 13 starts with five other top three finishes for $2,550,592 in earnings and top three placings in nine Grade 1 races.
