KARAKONTIE's Princess Grace now a graded stakes winner on both turf and dirt.

The daughter of KARAKONTIE is four for five lifetime starts.

Princess Grace, the talented and versatile daughter of Gainesway sire Karakontie, became a dual-surface graded stakes winner on July 6 with a determined score in the $200,000 Grade 3 Dr. James Penny Memorial Stakes, going a mile and one-sixteenth on turf.
She is now a winner in four of five lifetime starts for owner/breeder John and Susan Moore. Trained by Michael Stidham, Princess Grace won her first two career starts before testing graded stakes competition in the Grade 3 Pin Oak Valley Stakes at Keeneland, where she finished second among a strong field.
She then capped her 2020 campaign with an attention-grabbing dirt victory in an off-the-turf edition of the Grade 2 Mrs. Revere Stakes at Churchill.
Princess Grace is the first registered foal out of the blacktype Silent Name (JPN) mare Masquerade. Her dam is a half-sister to graded stakes winner and stakes producer Svea Dahl.
Following today’s victory, Princess Grace has now earned $320,000 with four wins and one second in five career starts.
