First Mares In-Foal to CHARGE IT Set for Keeneland November

The first mares in foal to CHARGE IT are set to sell at next week’s Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale with 14 on offer carrying foals from his first crop.

The first mare in foal to CHARGE IT is Six Sense, who sells as Hip 985 with Bedouin Bloodstock.

The mare was one of the first to visit the stallion when catching on a February 19 cover for her first foal. She made one start in 2025 before retiring, finishing a close third that saw her miss the win by just half a length. It ended a career that saw the Violence mare win two starts with three other top three finishes in eight starts for $100,105 in earnings, led by a second in the Lady Erie S. in 2023.

Pedigree-wise, Six Sense is a half-sister to the stakes winning Xanthique and out of Grade 3-placed Qualia. Qualia is one of five winners out of another stakes winner in Amalake with Six Sense a fourth generation stakes performer. Under the three dams on this page, Six Sense is one of 14 stakes performers.

Hip 1605 offered by Gainesway is the stakes placed Experimental, carrying her first foal on a March 2 cover.

One of two winners from two to race out of a full sister to Grade 1 winning Dream Tree, the 4-year-old broke her maiden in an Aqueduct Maiden Special Weight before finishing third in the Main Line S. next out. This page earned another stakes update recently with Dream Tree’s son Hypnus finishing second in the St. Louis Derby and third in the Smarty Jones S. with two 2025 wins as well.

Experimental’s second dam is also the dam of the stakes placed O’Maggi with this page also including stakes winner Sterling Outlook and Stakes placed Band of Angels.

The stakes producing Written Request sells with Gainesway as Hip 2326 carrying to CHARGE IT on a March 17 cover.

An unraced 11-year-old Arch mare, Written Request is the dam of two winners and a placed runner from four starters. That group is led by her second runner, the stakes placed Petition Prayer, who also won three times. The mare also has a 2-year-old by MCKINZIE to come.

She comes from a big producing family as a half-sister to the stakes placed Dragon Mall and nine-time winner Master Recovery among three winners out of the stakes winning Petition The Lady. Petition the Lady is one of three stakes performers for her own dam alongside three-time stakes winner and Grade 1-placed Saucey Evening and the stakes placed Julie’s Jewelry. A Giant’s Causeway half-sister is also the dam of dual Grade 1 winner Evening Jewel and stakes winner Deep Jewelry.

Evening Jewel’s half-sister Maggie McGowan is also the dam of Grade 1 winner Denman’s Call while those under Written Request’s third dam include three-time Grade 1 winners General Challenge and Notable Career.

Lane’s End consigns Hip 2875, the winning Into Mischief mare Mischievous Belle carrying a CHARGE IT foal on a February 23 cover.

Finishing in the top two in five of her 14 starts, Mischievous Belle produced the stakes winning Tensas Candy from her second foal. That mare leads Mischievous Belle’s produce record, though she is far from the only good runner out of the mare. Mischievous Belle has seen three of her four runners win with each of them winning at least two races, including her 4-year-old who won her second race in July. The mare has a 2-year-old and a yearling to come.

Mischievous Belle is one of five winners from five to race out of the stakes placed Vera Belle, who also produced dual stakes winner Ready Prospector. Vera Bella is one of two stakes performers out of her dam alongside the Grade 1 winning A Huevo and is a half-sister to the dam of Venezuela champion Speedavid.

This family also includes Grade 1 winners Jeranimo and First Samurai among many others.

The Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale runs from November 4 to 11 with CHARGE IT’s first mare selling in the third session.
