The first on offer is Hip 145, a filly offered by Silvestre Chavez Thoroughbreds.
Bred by W.S. Farish, the filly is the first out of TAPIT’s stakes placed granddaughter She’s All Skeet. Each of the dams on the page with racing aged foals have produced at least one stakes performer. She’s All Skeet’s stakes winning dam She’s All Scat is a half-sister to the stakes winner Jake Mo and Grade 3 placed Parker Run with one of her sisters also producing the Grade 3 winner and Grade 1-placed Sistas Stroll.
A half-sister to Grade 3 winner Mnasek sells as Hip 337 through the de Meric Sales consignment after breezing in :10.0.
A half-sister to six winners from nine to race out of Grade 2 winner Washington Bridge, the filly’s siblings include the dam of Group 2 winner and Group 1 placed Wentrue. The accomplishments of the runners under the Don Alberto-bred filly’s first two dams don’t allow for any others to be listed with her stakes winning granddam Stirling Bridge producing two stakes winners and three other stakes performers from 11 winners.
A granddaughter of two-time Grade 1 winner Executiveprivilege sells with McKathan Bros Sales as Hip 359.
The filly is the first out of the multiple winning Midnight Lute mare Withholding Info and is offered for the first time by breeders Michale Pegram, Karl Watson, and Paul Weitman. The dam of two winners from three to race, Executiveprivilege is also a half-sister to the three-time Grade 1 winner Hoppertunity and two other stakes winners. Her sister Freedom is also the dam of the stakes winning Freedom Trail.
Withholding Info has a yearling MCKINZIE filly and a weanling sold by the stallion as well.
Britton Peak-offered Hip 548 caught the eye during the Under Tack Show when breezing in :10.0.
The filly is a half-sister to the stakes winning Life Mission and one other winner from the three to race out of winning Johannesburg mare Crossing The Tape. Bred by Rosa Colasanti, Dr. Naoya Yoshida, and Kara McDermott, the filly’s granddam is the stakes winning Gabriellina Giof, who also proved to be a strong producer. The mare is the dam of dual Grade 1 winner Gabby’s Golden Gal and multiple Grade 2 winner and Grade 1-placed Always A Princess and to the dam of Grade 1 winner Locked.
The third foal out of Verrazano mare Lily Con sells as Hip 843 during the third day of selling on Thursday through Grassroots Training and Sales. He was given an update recently after his 3-year-old half-sister Quietly broke her maiden at Churchill Downs.
A placed runner, Lily Con is a half-sister to the Grade 2 winner Doremifasollatido and Grade 3 winner Fortunate’s Damsel in addition to the stakes placed Considerate. The possibility of Lilly Con being a successful broodmare is high with three of her sisters producing stakes performers and both her first and second dam producing at least one stakes winner each.
A $225,000 Keeneland September yearling purchase by Kinsman Farm, MCKINZIE’s filly out of Made to Measure sells as Hip 872.
This Fred Hertrich-bred is the first foal out of a Medaglia d’Oro half-sister to TAPIT’s Grade 1 winning daughter Valiance with the duo out of another Grade 1 winner in Last Full Measure. The Grade 1 form keeps coming under this filly’s third dam with that mare, Lazy Slusan, winning two Grade 1s in her own career. Lazy Slusan has seen three of her daughters produce stakes performers with those out of her daughters including stakes winner Monkeys Uncle.
Lazy Slusan is the only stakes performer for the juvenile’s stakes placed fourth dam, but one of Lazy Slusan’s half-sisters is the granddam of the stakes placed Primordia.
The OBS June 2-Year-Olds In Training Sale takes place from June 12 to 14 with each session starting at 10am ET. MCKINZIE has offerings each of the first three days.
