Daughter of KARAKONTIE wins on debut by 11 lengths at Gulfstream

Going one mile on the turf in a field of 10, the daughter of KARAKONTIE won easily by 11 lengths, crossing the wire in a final time of 1:38.51 for trainer Mark Casse and owners Quintessential Racing Florida LLC and Michael Hernon.

Spanish Loveaffair, a two-year-old filly by Gainesway’s KARAKONTIE, put on a stellar debut performance in the opener at Gulfstream Park on July 23rd. Going one mile on the turf in a field of eight, the daughter of KARAKONTIE won easily by 11 lengths, crossing the wire in a final time of 1:38.51 for trainer Mark Casse and owners Quintessential Racing Florida LLC and Michael Hernon. 

Spanish Loveaffair, bred in Kentucky by Gainesway Thoroughbreds Ltd., is out of the mare Spanish Bunny (Unusual Heat). 

This win marks KARAKONTIE’s fourth two-year-old winner out of five 2YO starters this year (80%).
