CHARGE IT garnered immense support int the All-Value Sire Team series presented by Joe Nevills of the Paulick Report – both by Joe Nevills, and featured bloodstock experts.
First, Bloodstock editor Joe Nevills selected the top young value sires standing for $20,000 or less in 2026. CHARGE IT was Joe Nevills’ First Team ‘Prospect’ in the series.
“Wow. I really liked CHARGE IT, and figured he’d be popular, as evidenced by my making him last year’s First Team Rookie, but even I didn’t expect he’d blow the doors off the Gainesway breeding shed the way he did in 2025.
CHARGE IT bred 235 mares this year, making him North America’s fifth most active sire of 2025, and by far the busiest one standing for $20,000 or less. That’s a testament to just how impressive the horse was at the end of the shank and to Gainesway for pricing him at a level that hit the mark between appealing and accessible. Because of that, CHARGE IT now has a stronger pipeline of foals than a lot of stallions with loads more experience before a single foal hits the ground…”
In subsequent articles in the series, bloodstock experts put CHARGE IT on their selections for the ‘Prospect’ sire of 2026.
“There’s a lot of time to go before we’ll know much at all about the ability of CHARGE IT’s foals, but he’s a fantastic physical with a great pedigree and he was brilliant on his best day. The market loved him last spring when he was the most popular first-year sire — which means he was also priced right.” – George Adams, Housatonic Bloodstock & Wasabi Ventures, named second Team ‘Prospect’
“CHARGE IT has been widely touted as one of the most exciting stallions of his class and will have every opportunity to prove the hype justified, with his 235 mares bred in 2025 the fifth-most of any stallion in North America…” – Jessica Tugwell, Hawkstone Bloodstock, named First Team ‘Prospect’
“Another exceptional-pedigreed prospect, CHARGE IT has been extremely well regarded since retirement. With an impressively strong physical, he’s a stallion you love even more once you see him. Breeding 235 mares in his first crop, CHARGE IT has the deck stacked in his favor to make an impact with his first crop.” – Erin O’Keefe, BTE Stables, named second Team ‘Prospect’
