Back-To-Back Victories for MCKINIZE’s Not Too Late

It was a second straight victory for MCKINIZE’s Not Too Late on Sunday with an Allowance Optional Claiming victory at Laurel Park.

Trained by Uriah St. Lewis for Trin-Brook Stables, Not Too Late broke in midpack in the six-furlong dirt race and was about five lengths behind the leader early on. The filly moved closer around the turn and went a few paths wide into the stretch to get clear ground.

Once she was asked for her best, the filly took over command and pulled away to win by three lengths at the line.

Not Too Late has made four career starts with only one finish out of the top two.

The filly is a half-sister to stakes winner Mizze Beau and three-time winner Shootoutthelights. The trio is out of the stakes placed Donna Getyourgun.

Donna Getyourgun is one of three stakes performers from nine winners out of Cryptoqueen alongside the multiple graded stakes winner Clear a Queen and stakes placed and Grade 1 fourth Queen Martha. Both half-sisters have also produced at least one stakes performer.

Not Too Late is one of eight winners for MCKINZIE, who is already the sire of two Grade 1 horses led by a Grade 1 winner.
