Another Eye-Popping Performance For TAPIT’s Flightline in Pacific Classic (G1)

Third straight Grade 1 victory for the colt

TAPIT’s Flightline proved added distance was absolutely no problem on Saturday at Del Mar with his most dominating performance yet in the Pacific Classic (G1). Racing 1 ¼ miles for the first time in his career, Flightline pressured the pace early before taking over down the backstretch and never looking back.

In the end, the undefeated TAPIT 4-year-old won the race by 19 ¼ lengths while eased down with the third placed runner 26 ¼ lengths behind the impressive winner. The victory was the fifth of his career and the third straight Grade 1 after a six-length win in the Metropolitan Handicap (G1) and 11 ½ length victory in the Malibu Stakes (G1) last December.
