It looks to be a strong start to the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale when MUTH sees 20 of his first crop weanlings go through the ring in the first three books.
Legacy Bloodstock is the consignor of Hip 122, a MUTH half-brother to the multiple stakes winning Miss Fulton Gal.
Bred by Moore and Edwards, this colt’s page received an update when dam Leah Forestiere’s half-sister Kerry’s Kiss won the Princess Rooney (G3) for a first graded stakes victory after registering two ungraded stakes victories earlier in her career. That blacktype made her dam a sixth generation stakes producer with Leah Forestiere taking the streak to seven generations when Miss Fulton Gal won her first stakes earlier this year. Most recently, Miss Fulton Gal finished third in the Cathryn Sophia S. in August.
Gainesway offers a homebred MUTH half-sister to Grade 2 winner Final Score as Hip 170.
This filly is out of the winning Bernardini mare Precious Dixie, who now has three winners from four to race after her 2-year-old Arabian Crown won a Gulfstream Maiden Special Weight in September. A full sister to stakes winner and Grade 1-placed Lady Kate, Precious Dixie is a sixth-generation stakes producer with Final Score’s Grade 2 victory on her produce record.
Precious Dixie brought $450,000 at this sale last year when carrying this filly.
The Springhouse Farm-bred Hip 857 out of Foolish Cause is consigned by Paramount Sales.
Foolish Cause has produced four winners from six to race with one other placed runner as well. The mare’s runners are led by the Group 3 winner and Group 2 placed From Dusk and stakes winner Foolish Humor to become a second-generation stakes producer. Her own dam produced three-time Grade 1 winner and useful sire Get Stormy.
Hip 954 is already a half-brother to a Grade 1-placed runner, but the Gainesway-bred offering comes through the ring with two stakes updates courtesy of his dam’s half-siblings.
A Grade 2 winner and multiple Grade 1-placed mare, his dam More Chocolate is one of five stakes winners out of Grade 2 winner Little Treasure. Still having an active group of runners on the track, Little Treasure saw her sons Reiko and Frederika win their stakes after the catalog was released. Little Treasure has also seen two of her daughters outside of More Chocolate produce stakes performers.
More Chocolate herself has four winners from five to race, led by the Del Mar Futurity (G1) runner-up Mirahmadi. The mare also has a Good Magic yearling filly to come.
A half-sister to the Grade 1-placed Cocktail Moments sells with Gainesway as Hip 1015.
This January-born filly bred by Mark Stansell is a half-sister to two winners and two other placed runners from five to race out of Canadian champion River Maid. That mare‘s crowning achievement was a Grade 2 victory as one of two stakes winners and six stakes performers out of Rivermaid Dancing.
Rivermaid Dancing is also the granddam of stakes placed Top Rod and a half-sister to the dam of stakes winner Totally Obsessed and Grade 2-placed Dark Vader. River Maid’s TAPIT juvenile colt named Boston Gray is among her placed runners.
Offered by Legacy Bloodstock is the Scott Pierce-bred Hip 1422, who comes through the ring with a stakes update.
Out of the Bernardini mare Queen of May, this March-foaled colt was already a half-brother to dual Grade 3-placed Agency among his dam’s two winners from four to race. But more recently, the mare saw daughter Queen of Lies produce a stakes performer of her own when 2-year-old Legacy Lady finished second in the Joseph A. Gimma S. on October 2nd.
Queen of May is a half-sister to six winners out of Issaqueena, led by Grade 2 winner and Grade 1-placed Tizaqueena and stakes winner New Trails. She is also one of four stakes producers out of that mare with those runners including Grade 1-placed You’re My Girl.
All sessions after Book 1’s 1pm kick off start at 10am every day from November 3rd to 11th.
