RAGING BULL’s Raging Raj scored his first win on Wednesday night at Kempton in England with a determined maiden victory.
Racing over a mile on the synthetic surface, the Jane Chapple-Hyam trainee raced in midpack in the large field from the start. Raging Raj didn’t make any moves until they entered the final furlong when the gelding kicked into high gear.
Flying late, he confronted the leader and got up just in time to win by a head a month after finishing second on the turf.
