It was another winner for RAGING BULL on Tuesday when Jes See Me won a Presque Isle Downs Maiden Special Weight in his second start.
The Teresa Connelly trainee was making his second start in two weeks after registering two bullets before his debut. The 5 ½ furlong synthetic race saw Jes See Me go immediately to the lead with another horse coming with him. The pair dueled through the early stages before Jes See Me seized command in upper stretch.
He went off as the favorite and it was easy to see why, with the juvenile romping to a seven-length victory by the time he hit the line.
Don Sayban races the Blackstone Farm-bred, who he bought at Fasig-Tipton October.
Jes See Me is a half-brother to the stakes winning Like a Saltshaker as one of four winners from four to race out of seven-time winner With Sprinkles. With Springles is one of seven winners from seven to race out of 19-time winner Unreal Cupcake, whose runners are led by three-time stakes placed Layers. Six of Unreal Cupcake’s winners won six or more races each.
There are 13 more stakes performers under this 2-year-old’s third dam and five stakes winners under his fourth dam.
RAGING BULL has sired four winners from his first crop, putting him ninth among all freshmen.
