RAGING BULL registered his first career winner on Thursday when Jutland won his debut in a Maiden Special Weight at Horseshoe Indianapolis by two lengths.
Going off as the favorite in the 7 ½ furlong turf race, Jutland took up duties as the back marker in the race right out of the gate. The colt happily raced in that position before steadily passing horses down the halfway down the backstretch.
Going into the turn, Jutland chased down the leaders and was on their heals in the stretch. Feeling the whip just a few times near the line, Jutland won going away by two lengths.
Jutland is trained for owner-breeder NBS Stable by Kelsey Danner and is out of the War Front mare Naval Battle.
JUTLAND ($5.80) roared home on debut under @ABeschizza in the 3rd at @HSIndyRacing. The two-year-old becomes the first winner for @Gainesway's freshman stallion Raging Bull (FR). @kelseyjdanner conditions the colt.

Naval Battle is a full blood sister to the multiple graded stakes winner Masteroffoxhounds. This is the first foal for the mare, who is out of Wonderful. Wonderful herself has quite the family behind her as the full sister to champion Magician, Grade 3 winner Apple Betty, and stakes winner and Grade 1-placed Outstanding. Outstanding is the dam of Masteroffoxhounds and the stakes winning Totally Justified.
This is also the extended family of champions Listen, Ascoli Piceno, Sequoyah, and Henrythenavigator.
RAGING BULL’s first crop has kicked their career off well with five of his 10 runners placing so far.
