Thirty-Six OLYMPIAD Weanlings On Offer at Keeneland November

Chances to buy weanlings from OLYMPIAD’s first crop come fast and furious at the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale over the next nine days with 36 scheduled to sell.

The first through the ring comes 66 hips in when Gainesway offers a filly by multiple graded stakes winner Sneaking Out.

A six-time winner overall, Sneaking Out saw her TAPIT yearling sell for $850,000 at the Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Sale earlier this year.

The mare is one of seven winners out of the stakes placed Maddie’s Odyssey, whose run as a broodmare has been even more successful than her track success. Maddie’s Odyssey is the dam of four stakes winners and five stakes performers overall with the group also including Grade 3 winner and Grade 2-placed Grecian Fire.

Maddie’s Odyssey was following a family tradition as one of three stakes performers out of her own dam. One of her non-stakes performing half-sisters also produced the stakes winning Giver Not a Taker.

Taylor Made consigns Hip 423, the third foal out of Tactical Move.

This February-born colt’s granddam is the Grade 1 winning Game Face, who has also been successful as a stakes producer and producer of successful stakes producing daughters. Game Face produced the Grade 2-placed TAPIT runner Coliseum while her daughter Goaltending is the dam of Grade 2 winner Turnerloose. In all, this page includes 10 stakes performers with six winning at the stakes level.

A half-sister to Grade 1 winner Switzerland is the dam of Hip 555 consigned by Vinery Sales on behalf of Haymarket Farm.

The colt is the first foal out of Connect mare Czechia, who is out of multiple stakes winner Czechers. Czechers is also the dam of the aforementioned Switzerland, who won graded stakes on two different continents. This page includes multiple stakes winner Dakota Danzig and stakes winner Special Jule among others.

A proven producer, Lady Pewitt’s youngest foal goes through the ring as Hip 1054 with Gainesway.

Lady Pewitt only made one start in her career, but her greatest strength has been as a broodmare. She has been represented by seven runners on the track with six of those visiting the winner’s circle. Included in that group is Eclipse Champion 2-Year-Old Filly Jaywalk and stakes winner Danzatrice.

Danzatrice went on to produce TAPIT’s Grade 1 winner and classic placed TAPIT TRICE. This page also includes Grade 2 winners Mission Impazible and Forest Camp among the seven stakes winners and three other stakes performers named under the colt’s first three dams.

OLYMPIAD’s Hip 1112 is coming into the ring with a stakes update after his half-sister by Justify was second in the Jockey Club Oaks (G3).

The colt consigned by Sequel New York as agent for the Lakin Estate Dispersal is out of Galileo mare Moving Moon. Moving Moon’s only foal of racing age is Justdeny, who is also a winner. The mare’s yearling sold earlier this year for $210,000 at the Fasig-Tipton New York-Bred Sale.

Moving Moon comes from a big family with her Group 3 placed dam Nell Gwyn a full sister to European Horse of the Year Rock of Gibraltar. Others named include Group 1 winner Intricately and Group 2 winner Visualisation.

Another OLYMPIAD coming into the ring with an update is Hip 1792, consigned by Warrendale Sales.

That filly is a half-sister to MCKINZIE juvenile Not Too Late, who is a two-time winner and was also third in the White Clay Creek Stakes. Not Too Late is one of two stakes performers out of the stakes placed Donna Getyourgun, whose other is stakes winner Mizzen Beau. In all, the mare has produced four winners with her 3-year-old Ernestina also winning twice after the catalog was released.

Donna Getyourgun is one of three stakes winners and producers out of Cryptoqueen. That mare’s Grade 3 winner Clearly A Queen produced two stakes performers and is the granddam of two stakes winners and two other stakes performers as well. Meanwhile, stakes placed half-sister Queen Martha’s six winners include the stakes winner and multiple Grade 2-placed British Royalty.

After the 1pm start time for the first session, Keeneland sells at 10am daily with OLYMPIAD also having 18 in-foal mares scheduled to sell.
