It was a two stakes winner weekend for TAPWRIT after Talion Bars won the Season Opening Stakes (Rus-G3) in Russia.
Winning on debut in his first start, Talion Bars was going farther than seven furlongs for the first time when stretching out to 1 1/8 miles on the dirt. It’s the second win in three starts for the Gainesway Thoroughbreds and Bridlewood Farm-bred colt, who was sold for $105,000 at the 2021 Keeneland September Yearling Sale.
Talion Bars is one of three winners from three to race out of the winning Cashconsiderations. That Super Saver mare is a half-sister to Grade 1 winner Sean Avery and stakes placed W W American. Another one of Cashconsiderations’ half-sisters is the dam of multiple Grade 2 winner and Grade 1 placed Pretty N Cool.
Cashconsiderations also has a 2-year-old colt by TAPWRIT as well.
TAPWRIT’s weekend also included Taylor’s Tap winning the Acadiana Stakes while he also saw a filly from his second crop top the TTA 2-Year-Old Sale when selling for $300,000 last week.
