It was a two graded stakes winner day for TAPIT on Saturday when Grade 1 winner Pauline’s Pearl won her second straight Houston Ladies Classic (G3). In another competitive edition of the race, Pauline’s Pearl was making her first start since July and tracked the leader through the early stages of the 1 1/6 mile dirt race, making her challenge down the stretch. Flying late, she took the lead in the final furlong to win by 1 ¾ lengths for her fifth graded stakes victory.
