TAPIT was in-demand at Tuesday’s Fasig-Tipton November Sale when two of the top 10 offerings were either in-foal to the champion sire or sired by him.
One of the last through the ring Tuesday night, the stakes winning Galileo mare Bye Bye Baby was bred to TAPIT on a March 31 cover and offered by Denali Stud on behalf of The Estate of Michael Baum. She enjoyed her moment in the ring as the bidding continued to rise before Emmanuel de Seroux signed the $3.1 million ticket on behalf of Grand Farm. Only 17 hips before Bye Bye Baby, TAPIT’s Grade 1 winning daughter Valiance was also purchased by Japanese interests when JS Company went to $3 million to secure the winning bid.
